A gym is place for people to exercise and stay healthy. In the gym you will see different types of equipment like treadmill, bikes, and weights that can people use to work out. Some gyms offer classes like yoga or spinning. Working out in the gym helps people to build strength, stay in shape and improve their cardiovascular health. Gym is a great place to meet new people who have similar health goals and to get motivated to stay active. When you join a gym, you usually have to pay a fee to become a member. This fee give you access to all the facilities and equipment at the gym. you will have access in the gym floor, group fitness classes and sometimes a personal trainer if you like to get a trainer. Most gym offers different types of tiers of membership, with each tier offering different perks and benefits. Some gyms will have you pay a set amount each month, while some people liked to pay their membership for the entire year upfront. You can also sometimes can pay for a day pass or a week pass if you just wanted and tryout the gym before committing to it. If you're a member, you have the right to use all the facilities and equipment during designated hours. You can also have access to special member only events or classes. Some gyms also offer a rewards program for members, where you can earn points while attending classes or referring a friend to the gym.

Hi Josh. Gyms in the United States are huge, I remember the first time I walked into a gym in Glendale, I was so amazed by the amount of types of equipment. They literally have everything. Most of the gyms have a pool, sauna, basketball court and tons of different equipment to workout in whatever you want to train. It is just awesome.
